Remember, most (if not all) pom puppies sold in pet shops and many online 'retail' sites are born in puppy mills. A 'middleman' may be distributing them to you, so buyer beware!
KNOW YOUR BREEDER!
Your fur babies life can depend on it. What is more heartbreaking than buying a sick puppy or even losing a puppy due to congenital illness or lack of care?
A trust worthy breeder is truly concerned about the health and future of every puppy they bring into the world. A quality breeder loves and cares for both the parents and the healthy puppies in their breeding program and never sacrifices quality and care for profit.
A breeder should be willing to send current pics per your request, including pics of other puppies AND adult poms at their kennel, poms in their play areas, etc. A quality breeder should be available via telephone and willing to answer all of your questions. Ask Questions!

ADOPT & SAVE A POM'S LIFE
There are many purebred puppies in shelters and foster programs waiting for you to love them. There are online searches that will help you locate and adopt a dog from your local shelter.
